Support Team SCIS at the 2010 Chicago Marathon
SCIS is confronting the struggle of paralysis at the 2010 Chicago Marathon, and you can help.
Check out the athletes below:
With 46 participants in this year's marathon, SCIS is addressing the lack of funding for Spinal Cord Injury research with its largest participation yet. Their friends, family, associates, colleagues, and neighbors will make this year, SCIS's best year on record.
Why?
Because Spinal Cord Injuries Suck! They really do. People are suffering. Governments are cutting funding. Prospective treatments are being stymied because of lack of money. Explore the site to learn more.
We, you and us, can help. SCIS is totally volunteer driven. The money goes to research - doctors, labs, research universities - and people making a difference. People who have dedicated their lives to improving others' quality of life. Learn more about our past fundraising marathons for 2008, and 2009.
